Artist's Comments

It is a tracing of a digital photograph using the pen tool in illustrator. Took me twenty-five hours to create. This was assembled for my Computer Graphics class, taught by Mark Fertig.

The lens is thousands, well, maybe hundreds, of very small objects, while the metal plates that compose the face and sides of the cameras are very few objects with gradients.

its reallyy cool and i just learned how to use rhino...and this makes me drool, but (oh no...) what happened to the bottom of the lens? it looks all fucked up..that's bad...?

I didn't finish it on purpose so that I wouldn't get called out on using a photoshop filter, and so that you could see the layering etc.
